After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, he chose to pursue a career in tourism due to its stimulating challenges and the innovative opportunities it offers for personal and professional growth.
As the founder and owner of Grandmark Holidays, Karan has built a successful career in the tourism industry. He began his journey with over six and a half years of experience in his family-run tourism business, Paramount Holidays Pvt. Ltd., alongside his contributions to the family export business, Bajrashatto Impex, situated in the heart of the tourist district, Thamel. During the peak of tourism in the 1980s, he had the opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned companies such as Abercrombie & Kent and various travel advisors, as well as a distinguished photography group from Hong Kong. His passion for travel and continuous interaction with international visitors inspired him to establish his own travel company.
Mr. Shrestha is actively engaged with several travel and trade associations. An avid game enthusiast, he enjoys exploring different parts of the world. He brings a unique perspective to his team, blending curiosity, fun, and gratitude in all endeavors. Karan is dedicated to organizing and preparing exceptional holiday tours for both inbound and outbound travelers.

Proficient in Japanese, Hindi, English, and Nepal Bhasa, he demonstrates unwavering commitment to building strong customer relationships.
