Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m) and transfer to Hotel.
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Be received by our staff that will help in assisting you to get transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu with BB Plan.
Day 2
Catch a morning flight to Lukla (2,850m).
Take an early morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Lukla is considered to be the busiest runways in Nepal and the most renowned mountain carriers in the world, which attempts to offer the most scenic rugged mountain vistas. It gives panoramic views of the world’s highest mountains, including Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu (the world’s 3rd, 4th, and 5th highest respectively). After breakfast, we trek down to Phakding that is gradually down (200m). It takes about 4 hours to get at Phakding (2610m.) following the white Dudh Koshi River.
Day 3
Trek to Namche Bazar (3,450m).
Today will be a long day as compared to the first day. It takes around 6 -7 hours to ascent Namche bazar. Namche Bazar is the largest and the most thriving town in Khumbu area. A bazaar (marketplace) is held every Saturday. The vendible’s demonstrated in the market include meat, grains and vegetables, tennis shoes and trinkets as well as hand woven aprons and Tibetan boots. Thamserku (6648m), Kwangde RI (6187m) and Khumbila (5707m) encircle the natural inclination that Namche sits in. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 4
The entire day is for acclimatizing in Namche Bazar.
Today we take an entire day to allow our bodies to acclimatize before ascending to the higher altitudes. The secret of safe acclimatization is to ‘climb high and sleep low’. We climb up to Everest view hotel to see the Everest Panoramic ranges including view of Mt.Everest (8848m.), Nuptse (7849 m.), Lhotse (8516m.), Ama Dablam, (6886m.) Thamserku (6623 m.) and Kusum Kangaru (6369m). It takes about 3 hours to go up and we then take a tea break for an hour with the panoramic view of Everest at Everest View Hotel. We back down to Namche Bazar. It will take approximately 5-6 hours of walking. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 5
Trek to Tengboche (3,850m).
After a day rest in Namche Bazar, we continue our trek to Tengboche. It takes about 5 – 6 hours to get Tengboche. Tengboche is an incredible village in Everest region where you can have a chance to see the awe-inspiring views of Ama Dablam Mountain and an old monastery. In the morning and evening, the Lamas do worship in the monastery where you can go and visit or meditate in the presence of rhododendron forests.Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 6
Trek to Dingboche (4,350m).
It takes approximately five to six hours of walking to Dingboche and you can enjoy the Rhododendron covered forests to emerge to a pleasant level area. Having the staggering Ama Dablam and Kangtega (6779m) view, you continue your trek as they appear on the opposite bank. Climbing gradually up, winding above the River you get to spot a big Mani Stupa. Continuing the walk is fairly moderate as you enter the Imjatse Valley on the lab of the phenomenal Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse with views of the eastern snow capped mountains including the Island Peak (6189m). Thereafter, we reach Dingboche.Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 7
Today, enjoy a day-trip to Chhukung valley.
This is another acclimatization day trip to Chhukung valley and back to Dingboche in the evening. It takes approximately 6 to 8 hours. The imposing scenery of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as you explore Chhukung valley that leads up to the Island Peak. After exploring Chhukung valley, you have time to relax in the afternoon. You also can enjoy the panoramic view of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Taboche peak and other mountains. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 8
Trek Lobuche (4,910m).
Today we walk about 6 to 7 hours. We trek along the Dughla valley; you leave an Aid Post at Pheriche 4240 m. A western volunteer doctor, supported by The Himalayan Rescue Association is stationed here and they offer treatment and consultation for trekkers who are heading up. You continue the trek on gaining knowledge of the altitude to your destination. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 9
Trek Gorekshep (5,140m) and hike up to Everest Base Camp (5,380m).
It takes about 4 hours to Gorekshep and we will hike for another 4 hours to go back to Everest Base Camp. It makes more comfortable for the altitude to hike up and come down for the night stay. Trek up the valley with a short look of the Khumbu Glacier following the rocky path, on the lap of Kala Patthar (5545m) and Mt. Pumori (7145m). The sweeping views of Nuptse, Lho -La and Khumbutse emerge at the forefront of you. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 10
Spend hiking up to Kalapathar (5,550m) and descend back to Pheriche (4,240m).
It takes about 9 – 10 hours to reach Kalapathar and Pheriche. We start early in the morning with a hike up to Kalapathar (5545m), an excellent viewpoint to observe Mount Everest and innumerable spectacular mountains views. Before descending, you will never forget the glorious views of Everest and the Himalayas. You also start to feel better and less tired because of adjusting to the altitude. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 11
Trek back to Namche Bazar.
Descending down is an easier walk for downhill and altitude purposes. Mostly downhill to Namche Bazar, it takes about 8 -10 hours via the Mon-la pass (3975m), which offers scenic mountain views. You can enjoy your evening in Namche Bazar where there are many facilities like drinks, bakery, pool houses and shopping. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 12
Descend back to Lukla.
Today after 10 -11 hours of walking, you will get back to Lukla. There is also a market place with bars, restaurant and shops to enjoy your rest of the day in Lukla. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 13
Catch a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.
Take an early morning breakfast. You will get another chance to enjoy the spectacular views from Lukla. After half an hour flight, you will be back in Kathmandu with an unforgettable memory of your trip. In the afternoon, we will have half-day sightseeing trip to Pashupatinath and Bodhnath Stupa with professional English Speaking Tour Guides for 4 Hours. Overnight stay at guesthouse or lodge.
Day 14
Transfer to the airport for final departure.
Catch a flight for final departure back home.
